        Hi,

I'm a bit confused about the 1-2-1 chat.

Do they write notes about what you said, or is it recorded.

Also is the reply scripted, or do you actually speak to someone, and other than the person you speak to will anyone else find out, within childline, or outside of childline.

Would they ever tell other people what you'd said, and do they keep infomation about you, stuff like your IP address, or not?

        thanks

        Thanks

    Hi there Holly74,

I think the guys have answered most of your questions so hopefully that has helped.

UJ2M is right, any information they store about you is kept private and confidential within ChildLine. They only share details about you if you are in immediate life threatening danger and what you are telling them breaks their confidentiality promise.

The FAQ’s that MetalCan talked about are really useful. You can find them here

No counselling contact is scripted. There are certain things that people will usually say that might sound similar, like explaining the service, but the response is by the counsellor you are talking to.

Things like IP addresses are automatically stored for each of your contacts but they are not easily accessible. It is not something that counsellors usually access as it has to authorised by a more senior person at ChildLine. Essentially there has to be a reason why it is requested.

    Take care

    Hi

I had my baby girl Tayah a year ago when i was 13. I was really scared. I couldnt tell any1 except my boyfriend who was 15 at the time. I didnt get along with my mum because she was an alcaholic and she was really agressive. My boyfriend  just told me that we should runaway together so we did. The first night we ran away we were sleeping under an allyway with people screaming and shouting. We then went to a council estate and we went inside the main door and we found a corner and we just slept there. My boyfriend would go out and try to find some money. The only way he could get money was dealing drugs so he did that. When i had my baby girl it was really really hard to look after her. I thought she wud die because she didnt have any food or nothink. One day my boyfriend went out to sell some drugs but he never came back. So i decided that i needed to get some help. So now im living in a hostel wth my daughter and i hate it.

I just dont no what 2 do with my life

omg i feel so sorry for you i mean a single mother and you are 14. you must treat youre baby nicely so she grows up happy keep hope for youre boyfriend but look for some one to help you.

definatly talk to childline they can help u. as for youre life try to stop thinking about the past and look at youre future imm only 11 myself but when ever i have a problem with friends or with the guys i just push it all behind me.

hope this helps and i wish u good luck
