So glad to see a young carer thread! I'm a young carer and have been for years now. I know it can get really tough, as well as everything else in life such as exams (which I am doing atm)

I care for my brother. If anyone would like to chat post a message back! It would be good to hear from others. Much love Kimmy J xx

    Heyy

I am also very glad to see a young carers thing.

I am a carer for my sister who is 16 and she has down syndrome.I sometimes go to a young carers group but they dont talk about problems you just play and its boring but oh well you get to meet new people.

im the same, i care for my little sister with downs and hirschboungs disease (i rly cant spell it lol) shes 6, how old are you Han-han??? x

i go to the young carers thingy, sometimes i really want to talk but... people dont seem to want to, they just want to play which i spose is ok sometimes cos we get to relax and chil and go on trips etc.

Sometimes it gets a bit hard cos things pile up on us, which is annoying.

Looking forward to talking with you guys xxx

hey. i'm also a young carer although I care for my grandparents. Recently got involved with the young carers scheme you guys have been talking about. Apart from just playing, is it any good? I'm not so sure about it tbh, some of it sounds good but just 'playing' sounds more for younger people. How old are you's if you don't mind me asking? Xx
