You're only young, to be honest I dont think there is a big rush to label yourself as anything right now. Some girls like a girl but are straight, others like girls and boys and others only like girls but just because you might fancy this one girl doesn't necessarily mean you are a lesbian. I think most people feel a little confused over their sexuality at one point or another, I mean if you just look through these boards you will see you aren't alone with this in the slightest! There isn't any particular way to determine whether you are a lesbian or not, I would say to just go with your feelings and not worry about what it means. It can be hard to know for sure at your age because your feelings change a lot but honestly its ok not to know- you dont need to.

Thanks for your advice, Jen301. I talked to a counseller on here yesterday, and they said I shouldn't worry, and that it's OK whatever relationship I'm in, so long as I and the other person are happy with it. I agree with what you say - I shouldn't rush to label what I feel, and I'll just see how things develop in time.
