I'm a gay guy who has a crush on one of my best friends. It got too much and I just had to tell him how I felt.

No surprise, he said that he was definitely straight so nothing was going to happen, but he was fine with it and we're still best mates.

Any advice on how to get over him would be great. :) Sorry for being awkward but I really don't want to get rid of our friendship.
