i like this boy but i don't know if he likes me back i have known him for about 6 months or less, we have become really close i could tell him everything and vice versa i think. but my close friend has known him for 2 years and he likes her but i don't want them too part because of me. please help me out. x

make sure you have all the facts right first because you never knoe, he might like you too :D
but if he does like your friend. don't be afraid talk to her about how you feel and how she really feels about her + the boy .
she might not really like the boy like that , they might just be really close.
