Heya Abz,

I know not having a boyfriend when everyone else does is really hard, I've been there for a very long time. And to be honest, if all your friends have had their first kiss- for year sevens that's quite big I would say. I've never had my first proper kiss and I'm in year 8. And it doesn't look like it's coming my way any time soon. As for going to an all girls school- that does create quite a few problems doesn't it? Why don't you ask some of the other girls how they met their Boyfriends, maybe you can pick up a guy in the same way they did. You could always try and join some clubs outside of school where there are girls and guys that you can mix with.
And as for not thinking yourself pretty- no girl thinks she's pretty at some point. But we've all got to accept ourselves at some point, and we're all beautiful in some way or another. Just try to keep up the hope that there is someone for all of us, even though it doesn't seem like it at the moment.
