Well it is perfectly natural, at first they some times don't come on time, like they say 28 days but some times it can even be 30 or 31 days... your body will get used to it!
Keep talking to your mum about it, thats the best advice although other peoples comment are preettyy good!
I've had my periods since i was 11, it was on my birthday! what a surprise.. i was going to a theme park aswell!!! Hehe,,
anyway no needs to worry, if you are out shopping and your period starts i'm sure your mum will have a tampon or some thing!

No they are not scary , first time yes maybe coz its a new thing to ur body, but after a couple off minths you get used to it ,. its all natural dont worry about it x
There is really nothing to worry about, A started at the age of 13, and now Av' had 19 periods altogether. It takes a while to get used to.

theres nothin' to worry about !! as long as you have your family and friends around you then theres nothing to worry aboot !!
hey, dont worry periods arent scary at all, but they might not be regular at first! so dont worry if you have one then dont have another one for a couple of months, or have two in one month! actually the only scary thing ive had is when i finally got into a regular cycle, i lost my virginity and then the next month my period was 3 weeks late!!!! that was the scariiest thing but it was ok cause i came on eventually!
periods are not that scary even though i don't have them yet
