I used to go to primary school with this boy and at the time I didn't like him in the slightest, not even as a friend. We didn't see each other for about 3 years until his mum got together with my dad. He was living with his dad at the time so I still didn't see him at all. I'm not sure why but I'm sure I could guess why, but he started to come over more and more often and for some reason I invited him to my birthday party when we all went out together. From that point on, really suddenly something happened and now were dating. We've been going out for a while but I'm worried that we don't love each other and are just together because we haven't got anyone else and because we've spent time together and. A bit like Big Brother, I suppose. I'm also worried that if I do love him then my parents wont accept us because we technically step-brother and step-sister. Some of my friends say things like 'oh but he's your brother' when we talking about boyfriends and stuff and it makes me feel really awkward.
What do you think I should do?
