    Hey.

I dont no about what the schools do but i will let you no. I have just told a teacher at school who knows about all my problems that i started self harming. Hes has been very supportive. He knows that i dont want my parents knowing anything, I have a councellor and i talk to him also but he knows never to telll my parents unless absolute emergency. I dont think he will tell them about my self harm but he will probably tell my councellor and possibly head or year. I will let u no what happens on Monday. Take care x

    Heyy

Sorry i couldnt get back to you on Monday like i said, i havn't been very well. Like i said i had emailed my mentor teacher and told him about my SH. I went to him on Monday and he asked me a few things, told another teacher at school who he knew could help. He will not tell my parents. You should tell someone but make sure when u tell this teacher that u do not want ur parents knowing. I dont think my mentor has told my head of year. I also went to see him today, he did not ask spesifically to see my arm so u probs wont have to show ur teacher, i however did show him as i thought it may help him see how bad a situatuion i am in. I am fulyl supported and they wont tell ur parents if u ask them not to. Do tell someone and i hope this helps.

Hi hun, it depends on your age or the school your at. I told my college when I was 16 they , because it was the law and I was still a child ( still a child til 18) they had to tell my parents. So my folks founds out but it depends on the school/ college your at.

    hi :)

i told my guidance teacher at school last year that i self - harmed and tbh he didnt do much about it, told me to phone childline basically. it took me a long time to talk to someone about it, and then he didnt know much about it + i told him not to tell my parents. and he said he wouldnt. and only recently have i talked to childline, and tbh they were so much better for help and advise than my guidance teacher.

    hope this helps :)
