I was wondering what does self harm actully mean , what do you do , my friend I think has been , I want to know so I kno wif she is for sure.

self harm means harming yourself on purpose. people usually do it becuase they are having a difficult time or a stressed. people who self harm can do it any where on their bodies the most noticable is on arms, hands and wrists. i dont really want to say how you self harm as it may give other people ideas but i can say it makes u blead or burn and u get scars which can be seen on arms legs and wrists, hands and even ankles
the person who i talk to about my self harm said that punching a wall was a form of self harm because you know that you will be worse off than the wall :S i strongly advise people NOT to do this as i broke my knuckle before my important exams because of it :(
