Basically i have self harmed for ages then when my school contacted my parents i stopped for a while but now I have started self harming again and im not in control anymore.

My friend persuaded me to speak to our head of year & the nurseabout it and they said they won't have to contact my parents again yet but they want to get me 'professional help' and they want to refer me to CAMHS. The only problem is i really dont want my parents to know again but because i am under 16 (im 14) the school will have to tell them before they refer me. I really dont know what to do!

Is there anywhere that i can get help without my parents knowing?

heyy, i hae almost the exact same situation as you.

my friends pressured me to go and c the head, school nurse and my guidence tacher, and she told my father. i then went to CAMHS, there not the nicest people in the world but they try to help you. they shouldnt tell your parents if u do it through the doctors, thats what i did..

my dad didnt need to know he just knew it was goin on and that was it, as long as you have hep there it should be ok...

thanks for the advice. the person who i talk to at school said that i could be refered to camhs for my anger problems and that is what they would tell my parents but then i would be able to speak to someone at camhs about my self harm aswell.

is this possible? and would camhs tell my parents about what i speak to them about?
