i have dreams related to s/h, usualy if ive either s/h before bed, or not done in ages, and its getting realy hard, like an adiction i guess... like when someone gives up chocolate for lent, then dreams about chocolate, my dreams are kinda like that, just about s/h. not litraly s/hing in the dream though, just about it.

i dont know, its hard to explain.
i get lots of stupid bad dreams anyway...

i get dreams similar to you.. my dreams are like i am in hospital being exposed as who i am...it happens when i have the urge to do it.. you have freaky dreams.. they can be quite scary..

when you self harm it is always on your mind, when you will next S/H, so what you are going through or have done is on your mind, so when you sleep it is still there...bugging you sticking in your head.

having dreams like this feel terrible when you wake up.. you feel like you had no rest..

i did dream about it...the dreams were really real and i remember the empty feeling, i made my dream a reality in school (in the girls toilet to be exact) i had to tell a teacher as i couldnt stop the bleeding myself...butterfly stitches and a bandage were hard to hide from my parents but i hid it...please try not to end up in the same position and leave your dream in your head, not on your wrist

I have only had a sh dream once. I was sitting on my floor, with blood coming out of a cut and i had gone ' too' deep and it would not stop i remember hoping it would stop and i would be ok as i did not want to go to hospital just sitting there holding my leg. Hoping. That was a scary dream. as I have not gone too deep as far a bleeding but lost count the amount of times I should have gone to A&E to get sticthes and i have never been.

I've had some before, they terrified me. I kept seeing myself cutting my wrist open, from the bottom of my hand to the crease at my elbow.

Then I would wake up and not get back to sleep because I wanted to self harm so much :(.

ive had a lot of self harm dreams, one last night in fact. especially when things have been mounting up or something very triggering has happened. i guess when you think about something a lot, or you avoid thinking about something you're more prone to dreaming of it.

ive even dreamed of chocolate bars chasing me... yes, stupid, but to me it's a nightmare (anorexic).

don't let the dreams trigger your s/h even more - easier said than done, but they aren't real and it's best to keep them that way

Yes i self harm and during school and nightime i have horrible dreams of nails going into me and a long scar up my leg which is horrible.It makes me Angry that im dreamign of it but then why am i doing it to myself.xxxx Good post definatly on the right part xoxo
