i agree with the person above, do not start self harming because it gets so addictive and hard to get out of.. I have been self harming for just over 2 years now and i cant get out of it, i wouldnt advise it to anyone because it doesnt work in the long run and you end up with tons of scars and its gets horrible. It just isnt worth it in the end when you can maker the bullying better, you dont want to be stuck with self harm marks/scars forevr... As for your other question, you can be put in hospital for self harm/suicide attempts if its serious. If they think your a risk to yourself after that they can keep you in because they did that to me one time and it was so difficult so you dont wanna go through that
If you want to get away from the bullying then tell someone, like get one of your friends to come with you to a teacher or head of year or even ask your mum to write/phone in and then you can get it sorted... If you stick with your mates at lunch times etc then it will be harder for the bullies to get to you
