When a teacher found out i was self harming, everything turned into a complete mess. My parents never supported me and i was labelled an attention seeker :/ Like you'd scar yourself for attention?!
Anyway, because of that, i can't say whether it was a good thing that your teacher didn't do anything, as it could have turned out the same way. Although it depends on the reaction you're expecting from your parents. If they will be open and understanding then talk to your teacher about it again. If not maybe it would be better if you accessed like a school nurse or school counsellor, they can help you deal with s/h. Dealing with it on your own won't help most people. It's hard to stop when there is no support there for you, cause it's like there's nothing to stop for.

 This happened with me too. But my so called "friend" told the teacher even when she promised that she woudn't! And then everytime i saw this teacher she would always want to see my arm if ii had s/h anymore! But maybe you could try and talking to her again OR go to a different adult and tell them about the s/h.      Always here if you want to talk

At first, I didn't tell a teacher, I just pretended it was something I could control. But when I did, a lot of other people got involved and then for some reason almost every teacher in the school knew. This was about two years ago.

But then last year when I started doing it again, for reason I don't like discussing, I didn't tell anyone for months. But then I decided to tell one of my closest friends, someone I knew I could trust and she helped me through it so much more than any teacher could have, maybe it was just the crappy teachers who worked at my school, yours might be better, who knows.

But I'm glad I told my friend about it, she helped me through it all :) So try and find someone you can trust, they might be able to help.
