I got told to write a letter to self harm or whatever you use to do it. So like, 'To Cutting. I don't need you anymore because... You...'. It feels really wierd but sort of works. Well it helped me stop temporarily.

EscapeToMusic / Dec 27 2009 22.37I find that elastic bands help. You can just wear them like bracelets, which is what loads of people do so wont look out of place. Then you're prepared whenever.
I also find that trying to write songs helps, lyrics, chords and the notes. This might just be because i find music helps me a lot though.
