I really want to be a police officer for my future career, but not to sound disrespectful to any police officers or people that know one, i honestly believe i could get a job that would get me a much bigger income.

I am quite smart and my CV seems to be building up very well with extra curricular activites, your starting wage as a police officer where i want to work is £20,500  moving to £25,000 after 2 years. I am pretty sure i could get a job over 30k starting salary at least. So my problem is do i go for my dream job or the job that can give me all the money?

P.S Do NOT say are you sure its not just a phase of wanting to be a cop, and i'll grow out of it. I have wanted this job for YEARS since i was about 5, up to now (age 14) and i have done the research, i know what the job entitles etc etc.
