Don't worry too much about your periods. Once I skipped about four months, and then they just came right back again. It's normal for the first two years or something for them to be irregular.

With the Bra thing, you don't have to have one if you don't want one. Some women never end up wearing one, they aren't essential. However if you do want one, but are just afraid they hurt, let me tell you- they are a bit uncomfortable the first week or so, and you might forget to wear it once or twice, but once you get into the habit of putting it on, you barely notice it's there during the day. When you go to buy a bra, it can be embarrasing, but to be honest, most poeple round that area of the shop will be girls anyway, so they won't care what you're buying. And if the person at the till is a guy, you could just stand a little distance away while your mum pays for it.
