    I started my periods a while ago and they are really heavy sometimes.I tend to leak alot and its really embarassing, when you can see it through my trousers i try to wear dark clothes but its not always possible and as i wear pads i try really hard to change as often as possible but my school has a strict rule that you cannot go to the toilet in lesson time so i only get chance to change twice while we are at school.Also im having a sleepover next weekend with my friends, and ive worked out that my period will be on that weekend now i want to cancell but all my friends are excited! because i leak from my bottom at night and it stains my pj's and my bed sheets i really don't know what to do know.Please help! Any tips?

    Heyya ! You should tell you'r friends I have started and I don't telll the world but when it comes to a hard time like that you have to tell them or warn them or don't come ! im a giant sleepover fan myself but when Im on my period I have to cancel it sorry SugarKiss but that's all I can think off...

    yeh i think u should tell them about ur hard times. I sumtimes leak at night and u just have to wear extra big pads. u never know, ur firends might have the same problem!

    also if ur periods r a big problem, like unbearable then maybe you could go to ur doctor and hav a chat and see if they can help you or give yu anything to help give u a bit of a lighter flow. I'm pretty sure there r things out there.

     try a tampon - but you have to change it as soon as u wake up and put a new one in before you go to sleep.
