I'm only 9, gonna be 10 in January. Haven't started my period yet, Is it best to start with pad or tampon?
hi im 11 and they say that you should start the same time as your mum but i havent yet and my mum started at my age......WHAT'S HAPPENING????????!!!!!!!!

What other reasons is there for your period to stop i no there is been pregnant and stress what can cause it to stop but what else as i have not had my period in 3 months but when i did have my period it lasted for longer than usual like up to 3 weeks then it would stop then not come back for another 3 months or longer i have had loads of bloods tests done and they all came back fine . I have already spoken to my mum about this and she dont no whats happing as my blood results are coming back all fine i have also asked my school nurse and she cant seem to tell what the problem is .
What im trying to say is what other reasons can your periods stop because mine is not right .
Anyone else having same problem as me ?

Personally I think it's best to start with pads, and whenever you feel comfortable, try using a tampon.
To me, tampons are one fo the best things invented ever :)

tampons save my existence. half the time when i'm wearing them i forget i even have my period!! :) x
I was eleven when I first had them and now im 12 but trust me its nothing to be ashanmed about! Everyone gets them at some point [girls] and if you told your friends they might have theres as well! You can normally trust your friends if their good friends so open up! you dont have to tell them tho cos i havent!
