Scared of peroid

Im in puberty and everyone is talking about peroids. They get me scared and my best friend told me what happens and it scares me. I want to tell my mom but i cant cause im scared and she doesnt like telling stuff like that to me. I want to wear tampons or the other ones but my mom + dad would think im crazy! What should I do cause I dont want one but I have to have one

I felt exactly the same b4, but trust me it really isnt that bad, u get used 2 it really quickly and just remember every1 is going thru the same thing!!!

U should talk 2 ur mum, I know i didnt want 2 talk 2 anyone cause i was embarrassed but then i did and it was ok!!!!!

Heya hunni.

Dont worry about getting periods, its nothing to be scared of. It might be scary at first and weird, but its all very normal. Sit down with you mom and tell her how you feel and discuss that you want to wear tampons. Your mom will understand, as your mom has been through it all herself. Dont be afraid, once you have spoken to your mom you will feel relieved.
