    i have a slight phobia of sleep. it's all because i get nightmares a lot. with sleep brings nightmares so i hate sleep. i often try to stay awake as long as possible and wake up really early. every now and then it'll settle down a bit but then it stars back up again and i'm scaed to go to sleep in case i get those nightmares again. i don't know what to do, i'm exausted nearly all the time and it's killing me. any suggestions anyone??

     i used to get nightmares, still do, but try and do something fun or happy before going to sleep. like if u had a good day think about it and u should have a nice dream. it sometimes works.:) 

    take care hun and try and sleep it will get worse the less u sleep.

    Try to think about what a nice day you have had, or nice things, and hopefully those nice things will have something to do with your dream, maybe sleep with a small light on so that you feel safer, I used to get scared a lot, and think there was someone in my room, or tapping on my window, But when i have a small dim light on, i feel a lot safer, hope I helped! xxx

    Hi

    Have u tried sleeping in the same room as someone else or something special to make u feel safer! but u need to sleep otherwise u will be really tired all the time.

    same. i am 12 andi sleep with a teddy. It makes me feel safer and if i get scared coz of something i cuddle it tight.

    yeh i'm 14 nearly 15 and i sleep with my teddy :)

    u can go to the doctors to get things to help with nightmares and sleep. thats probably better than making ureself really tired!
