hey, im not in yr 8, im in yr 11 :D but i am also having my 3 cervical cancer jabs this year because they only brought it out last year! but honestly its not that bad, the only thing that makes me panick about them is that you have it done in a room with a load of people and have to take your jumper off and i self harm :/ but honestly its not bad at all you cant even feel the needle and they just chat to you to distract you while they are doing it and then theyre like ''your done'' and im like 'you didnt even put it in' but they did so dont worry honestly
thats so much like me but i spoke to my headofyear and got to have it done seperately so noone saw all the scars on my arms so all was good
honestly it doesnt hurt you cant feel a thing, just think of something else think happy thoughts, whenever i have injections i always think of bunnies on a hill weird i know but it works lol
anyway if you think nice thoughts its fine, just dont tense your muscles relax and all is fine, also they will always talk to you when your having it done and that distracts you from it its perfectly fine so honestly dont worry
I just had mine ( We were the catch ups) I was sooo scared. I burst into tears and then ad a panic attack. It was so embarrassing. I ave to have another one son. I'm sooo scared!
Any advice?
Thanks

Hey I've had those injections when they first came out. I'm petrofied of needles. They make me feel sick, I go lightheaded, start shaking and go pale.
I was so scared when me and my mates were queing up. I burst out crying infront of my whole class. I'm in year 9, but nobody said anything, as we all felt like it.
The ladies are really nice, they offer you freeze spray = It nums your arm. It isn't that bad, the first one is the worst because your imagening all these horrid thoughts because you don't know what to aspect. But its only a quick, sharp pain. The other 2 don't really hurt.
YOUR BE FINE!
I burst into tears and had a panic attack aswell infront of my whole class and I was 12!
The first one is the very worst because you don't know what to aspect. I can honestly say the other 2 don't hurt much. Just look the other way and think happy things :) Thats what I did and its over quicker!
My locker
just the way
I like it
