I have had four teeth out and have another four to go! Plus oral surgery in April and then a double set of braces to be fitted in May. I can assure you, having never had any teeth out, or any dental work requiring an injectio, before getting the teeth out, I was scared. Mailnly of the injection because I have a fear of needles. The injections were a little unpleasant but I wouldn't say they hurt. And geting the teeth out doesn't hurt at all. I didn't even have any pain the next day or anything!
Check-ups are a ll good, so don't worry about it. They never do anything serious on a check-up so you don't need to panic. If you feel really uncomfortable at the dentist, take a little something with you that you love, such as a special piece of jewellery, or a little teddy bear or something, preferably something you can fitin your pocket or hold within your hand. If you get scared, just stroke it. Think of all the good times you've had with it and just concentrate on calming your breathing down.
