      i feel like i have no one. i looked it up on google and there was this question about a student loving there teacher as mother figure. i feel the same way with one of my teachers at school. its like i want them to be my mum. one of the answers said that i am not getting affection and support from my mum (i think its true) so i am trying to take it out of my teacher. i dont think she feels the same way. i think theres something wrong with me? i feel depressed and really hate feeling like this. i think i need emotional help! i am a 15 year old female. can someone help me?

    Wow. Seeing this gave me major deja vu. I was like you, I was [and still am] the victim of bullying that's been going on for 9 years, but at each school I went to I had a really good relationship with a teacher. The best thing to do is tell the teacher about your mum and that you trust the teacher. Teachers are trained to understand these things. They might be able to arrange a meeting between you and your mum with the teacher there so you can discuss the situation.

    You therefore need to concentrate on not having the affection from your Mum that you so require. Is there anyway you can increase this maybe on days out and stuff?

    Saying that, it is a difficult situation. Don't think that you are weird in anyway, this is perfectly normal (and believe me, I worried about this for years). I have tried to 'replace' parents with teachers as such and have begun to realise that this cannot happen. I don't think that there is major harm in it mainly because it happens to a lot of people and also, school is only a portion of your life- as long as you don't get too stalkery obviously.
