Totally, in my first year it actually got better within that, its the damn aches i get but ive found ways. They only devoloped after 5 months of periods though, my first was terrible each month the pain gradually decreases.

I must  probz say the BIGGEST warning over-all for me, Sore stomach. Came in a flash 2 days later BAM! I need new underwear.

I'm probz saying this cause my hormones in full-bloom right now like over-whelming me with happiness which is nice but ill be depressed in a few moments, but periods can actually be nice at times. I mean right now hormones are making me feel great, my tired-ness isnt showing so much, its nearing christmas and nothing can bring me down at christmas, not even stinkin periods!

i started my period 3 mounts ago and it sooo iregular and i cant tell anyone about it at school as i no they will all laught or something so only my mom knows and its realy weird i dont get any pains or anything though...yet!...but ive been swimming and it does stop i cant use tampons as they give me a realy bad rash so two towls or one i think is fine

I started first day of year 7 in my new school.It was hoirrible, fortunatly i had an older friend that i told and they could help me get through it. I didnt want to ask the receptionist, i get too scared still lol.

      Im 13 now in year 9 and i have used tampons since i started, i am a synchronised swimmer you see so i dont have that much choise.

You shouldnt be afraid of tampons lol i was before i used them but now they are so much better than pads, i dont use them instead of pads cusz i am still a bit scared of leavin them in too long or anything but they feel so much nicer when your swimming.

    Btw dont swim whilst wearing a pad, it makes the water dirty and nasty aand if you do bleed the pad will not hold it as the water eill get soaked up into the pad n the pad will break away, also if you wear a swimming costume you will be able to tell you are wearing one.

i hate having my periods especially since im on mine now but i usually get through it by having a hot water bottle,relaxing,pills(Ibuprofen is usually the best for me),water and something to take your mind of it like tv and if you are still in pain have some rest and wear padds im twelve and i cant use a tampon yet because i cant last more than a minuet using one lol xx
