    Hello

I started a little later than you lot. I was 13. However my best mates had all started before me and I used to be embarrassed that I hadn't started.

But then when I did start I felt embarassed that I had started.

But I want to assure everyone, I am 17 now, and it gets easier when you get older. I know that right now that's not exactly what you want to hear because you feel upset/embarrassed now. But just don't worry. It's the most natural thing and every women will go through it in her life. Just think that having a period is a reminder that one day you will hopefully be able to have a baby! When you think of it that way, it seems to make things seem better! i think anyway!! What a joy that will be!

And when you get older people seem to be more accepting of it. Sometimes I'm walking with mates around school and they will just come out with something to do with periods. Everyone knows what it's like to have them so female friends can be a great comfort in the times that you are in pain or worried.

Hey, I'm 13 And Started My Periods In Year Eight.

I Was Soo Embarassed Especially When Some Of My Friends Found Out Because Some Of Them Hadn't Started And Still Haven't Started So They tease Me. But Some Of My Other Friends Have Started. None Of Us Use Tampons && I Don't Know Many Girl In My School That Do.
When You have Swimming, Get Your Mum To Write You A Not Explaining To The Teacher Your On Your Period. Thats What We Do At My School And Then The Teacher Lets Us Off, So We Don't Have To Wear Tampons.

Don't Be Embarassed, Every Single Girl Will Start Having Periods One Day, Some Will Just Start Later Than Others.

    Hope I Helped xx

You dont have worry about starting your period. it natural all women go through it at one stage in your life tbh and you should be proud of it cause your growing into a young lady girls can start can start early and some start late it natural so dont worry and i find using pads very uncomftable and unhigenic and made me smell alot and when i started wearing tampons i felt alot clean didnt have change all time and didnt smells but it what ever way you feel comftable really hope this helps :)

Excuse me hav u actually tried it with two swimming bottoms on? Lol i tried it seriously, make do tampons are not my cup of white hot chocolate with cream and a flake. I did it in a bath to test, the water was fine we had a purifier and everything its was fine  its just technique and all , dont sweat it , even try iy 4 urself it doesnt make a difference because blood cannot come out in the water when its periods, spend over 5 hours in water and theyre all light for the rest of the cycle lol.
