    I'm not sure about annoying mates, because everybody is annoying at some time or another.

    Could you speak to your friend about how you want to be included a little more?- in a subtle and clever way. I guess just try and make yourself be included by accepting you'll be invited places and stuff to make yourself more involved. Not inviting yourself as such just, if a lot of your friends are going somewhere then go along.
