    Hey all.

Nearly a year ago, I had an arguement with a close friend of mine and we're still not talking. I don't want to talk to her anymore. We don't got together so there is no use pretending. It really upset me during the time and now I don't want to be friends. She treats me too friendly that sometimes makes me feel 'hopeful' that we'll be friends again, and it annoys me because it's all fake.

Anyway, we had a large group of friends, but most of them were closer to her so naturally, they all hang out with her. Luckily I have a boyfriend but I miss having a school friend I can trust, a girl to spend time with because other than him, I rarely leave the house anymore.

    Anyone in a similar position?

I'm not in the same position as you but I can understand how it would be hard. Sometimes, it is easier to just bite the bullet and make up with her, even if it fake. I remain friends with someone close to me because if I wasn't then she would take all of my friends away. I am very, very close to those friends she would take away but I still know she could manipulate them. What I am saying is, sacrifice a bit of time/pride towards the friend you fell out with and maybe you will become great friends with some of the others.

It is good that you have a boyfriend but I agree, sometimes it is just nice to have a girly night or a bit of a gossip, cheers you up immensely. If you don't want to be friends with your old friend then you could try mixing in some school clubs or talking to different people in your year group. Try not to worry too much.

    Take care xx
