Your in the same situation as i was! My dog *R.I.P* Kirby, was my best friend, he was always there when times were rough and suddenly , about 1-2 years after we moved house he got ill.

I walked outta the living room with my plate and saw him dead on the floor, i shouted to my mum and ive never forgotten what happened, NEVER.

I got a new dog, this year for my birthday and he's called Alaska. He is the oppisite of *R.I.P* Kirby and i love Alaska to bits!

I still sometimes cry about *R.I.P* Kirby, but i get over it and i dont find it at all to be not upset about your dog dying! It's Unhuman to NOT cry! Dont worry! Im sure your dog wouldnt want to see you cry , and im sure she/he would be proud of you whatever happens!

Sweetie,it is very normal for you to cry because you have lost a pet because since you knew the dog when you were little it makes it harder to get over it. My friend lost her cat and it took her a while to get over it but I always told her "He'll always be watching over you". The answer to your question "Is it silly to be really really about your dog dying?" Is no you just have to let it all out.

I really hoped I helped and good luck with everythingxx

Well for me it is silly. But going through a loss of any kind is hard I only think it's silly because my mom got really drunk and she overreacted for weeks and now I forgot when mine died. So it's normal to really upset about that.

No! You're Not Being Silly! I cried for WEEKS when my dog was put down and I didn't think I'd ever want another dog again. My dog was put down on the first day of the Easter holidays last year = (
You're not being silly. Trust me. Loads of people get really upset about their pets dying. I know I do.

    Sorry about the dog xxxxxx
