Smoking kills. Every cigarette smoked can shorten your life by 15 minutes, so if you smoke 1 cigarette per day for 1 year, that’s 5475 minutes of your life gone. What a waste. Once done, cannot undo. I am telling you this because of my concern of your health.

But why do people smoke in the first place?

The reason might be because of peer-pressure, curiosity, depression and emotional boredom.

These are the problems that smokers get:

    Bad breath

    Yellow teeth

    Smelly clothes

    More coughs and colds

    Difficulty keeping up in sports

Did you know that smoking can lead you to lung cancer and brain damage? Not only that, every cigarette contains about 4.000 chemicals, many of which are poisonous. These are the worse ones:

Nicotine: a deadly poison which is very addictive

    Arsenic: used in rat poison

    Ammonia: found in floor cleaners

    Cadmium: used in batteries

Using cigarettes eats up a lot of money, too. A pack of cigarettes costs £4.50, on average. That means, even if you buy just one pack a week, you'll spend £234 in a year. Some people smoke a pack a day, which adds up to £1,642. That's a lot of books, board games, and clothes you could buy instead.

Now, you have a choice. Either take my point of view and spread the word OR ignore this and become a smoker.

Remember, a Smoker never dies young, they die old.

Really hope this changes your minds. Sorry if this was a bit firm and scary
